Chapter 256 (An Act Relative to Mental Health Parity) Expands Coverage for Mental Health Disorders

The passage of Chapter 256 of Acts of 2008 expanded mental health parity which strengthens the state’s law by expanding the categories of mental health disorders for which health insurance plans must provide benefits such as post traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse disorders, autism, and more.
